A little about Myself
For as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher. Growing up, I was the oldest of nine grandchildren, and from a very young age, I assumed the role of “teacher”. I can vividly remember setting up a classroom in my cousins’ basement and assisting them with writing, reading and singing songs. I was the teacher, my siblings and cousins were the students, and together – we learned. So it was no surprise to anyone when I announced to my family later in life that I was going to pursue a career as an educator.
The Holistic Approaches to Information Technology course at OISE has inspired me to create an e-portfolio.
This website is a collection of my academic, professional and personal experiences in my life that have helped shape my identity, my teaching philosophy, and my outlook on life.
The purpose of this collection is to demonstrate my learning as I delve into the world of teaching, while continuing my development as a Master of Education student at OISE.
Each element of this site is accompanied by a short reflection to demonstrate its significance in helping shape who I am today.
